The Immortelle flower takes its name from the word ‘immortal’ – everlasting. ‘Helichrysum’ the scientific name of the plant, is derived from a combination of the Greek words ‘Helios (sun)’ and ‘Chrysos (gold)’. These small golden flowers are like the sun that never burns out.
